Dr. med. Ulrich Selz is a practicing doctor in his home town of Ingolstadt. He practices in private practice and specializes in the treatment of chronic illnesses.

Even before setting up his own practice, Dr. Selz help migraine sufferers who have been treated to alleviate or even eliminate their suffering. The experiences from his time in the clinic benefited him just as much as his extensive naturopathic training.

Dr. Selz began his medical career at the age of 16. At that time he completed a course in alternative medicine. Just one year later, he started volunteering in the rescue service, which has had a significant impact on him.

Since then, his greatest interest has been emergency medicine and complementary medicine. During his studies, his curiosity led him to several clinics in Germany where naturopathic procedures were used.

He later completed part of his education at John's Hopkins University in the USA. After graduating, he continued his career in anesthesia, pain therapy, intensive care medicine and emergency medicine at the University Hospital Halle/Saale.

After a few years he moved to one of the largest complementary medicine clinics in Europe. There he was primarily involved in the care of patients who had not been treated with conventional medicine.

During his time at the clinic, Dr. Selz a comprehensive diagnosis and therapy concept for migraine patients. Over several years he created and tested new treatment strategies for patients with complex migraines.

Encouraged by his success, he opened his first private practice while still working at the clinic. After more than 10 years of research, he is the founder of “Migraine therapy according to Dr. Selz.” This includes clear diagnostic and treatment guidelines, physiotherapeutic measures and special nutritional guidelines. He has now trained over 500 doctors and alternative practitioners in his method.

Dr. med. Ulrich Selz is an author, a member of various professional associations and is involved in training doctors, dentists and alternative practitioners.
